The risks of acupuncture are low if you have a competent, certified acupuncture practitioner using sterile needles. Common side effects include soreness and minor bleeding or bruising where the needles were inserted. Single-use, disposable needles are now the practice standard, so the risk of infection is minimal. Not everyone is a good candidate for acupuncture.Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as chi or qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.Tell your doctor that you’re considering acupuncture. He or she may be able to tell you about the success rate of using acupuncture for your condition or recommend an acupuncture practitioner.During an acupuncture treatment, your acupuncturist inserts very thin needles into specific spots on your body. Insertion of the needles usually causes little discomfort.
What is the success rate of acupuncture?
They were looking at severe pain cases, and they considered a success if pain was reduced by at least 50 percent. And when they compared the two side by side, acupuncture had a 92 percent success rate while morphine had a 78 percent success rate.
In contrast, many Western practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Some believe that this stimulation boosts your body’s natural painkillers. Each person who performs acupuncture has a unique style, often blending aspects of Eastern and Western approaches to medicine. To determine the type of acupuncture treatment that will help you the most, your practitioner may ask you about your symptoms, behaviors and lifestyle. He or she may also closely examine:

An acupuncture session may take up to 60 minutes, although some appointments may be much shorter. A common treatment plan for a single complaint would typically involve one or two treatments a week. The number of treatments will depend on the condition being treated and its severity. In general, it’s common to receive 6 to 8 treatments. Several studies, however, indicate that some types of simulated acupuncture appear to work just as well as real acupuncture. There’s also evidence that acupuncture works best in people who expect it to work. Some people feel relaxed and others feel energized after an acupuncture treatment. But not everyone responds to acupuncture. If your symptoms don’t begin to improve within a few weeks, acupuncture may not be right for you. Acupuncture points are situated in all areas of the body. The needles used for the procedure, vary in thicknesses and lengths and are used to stimulate and open up blocked channels of energy. This stimulation. This stimulation increases blood flow, while at the same time activating the body’s natural energy response.
Acupuncture remains controversial among Western medical doctors and scientists. There is a lack of scientific experiments and evidence due to its invasive nature. The theories also fail to better explain how acupuncture affects different types of anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias.
General benefits of acupuncture include management of pain, gastrointestinal problems, stress, and anxiety-related issues. It also helps in addressing other issues, listed below:
Acupuncture ultimately works to reduce the production of stress hormones such as cortisol in the body, while encouraging the release of hormones that promote “feeling good.” This is why many people who are struggling to manage their anxieties have now begun to explore alternative healing practices like acupuncture.
Acupuncture can be a one-time procedure, as well as a series of sessions depending on the professional’s recommendation. During acupuncture small needles are placed along with acupuncture points, these channels are located at certain points throughout the body. The goal of acupuncture is to restore the health and balance of these channels. Scientifically, it is explained through the lens of neuroscience, where nerves, muscles, and connective tissues are stimulated and neurochemicals are released.
Now that you have familiarized yourself with how acupuncture can help deal with anxiety and the symptoms it manifests physically, you can now go towards the next step and contact a medical professional to review your medical history.Acupuncture is growing in popularity due to its plethora of advantages, especially for people struggling -with multiple problems. It is also very popular among people working in rigorous environments and does not have excessive time to invest in psychotherapy and long periods of medication.
The article has provided all that you need to know about acupuncture, how it works, and the risks and advantages associate with it. It is vital to prepare a list for you to keep in mind if you choose to go ahead with the procedure.
In recent years, CAM practices such as acupuncture are growing in popularity. Acupuncture is a healing technique based on the concept that medical conditions and mental health disorders are caused by an imbalance in energy. It is premised on the idea that energy flows naturally through different channels in your body. Anxiety and stress cause restrictions in these channels consequently inhibiting the natural flow.
Catching up with the fast pace of these times and the rigor and hustle of work has proven to be extremely stressful and anxiety-inducing. These problems often impact daily life, but we barely get time for ourselves and to address these issues.
As a result of stimulated blood flow, the body is relieved of stressed muscles and the person feels more at ease in their body. This further results in improved sleep and a perpetual feeling of tiredness. Improved sleep and an activated body ensure that the person is better equipped to tackle the triggers and stressors, and more balanced.Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is a variety of practices including herbal medicines, aromatherapy, yoga, therapeutic massage, and acupuncture. Such methods are used to enhance personal wellness as well as a way to treat a variety of mental health conditions. These include depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other anxiety disorders. There are plenty of benefits of acupuncture, and it is approved as a viable and safe option. Lack of research is a significant factor that inhibits people from fully trusting the method. The procedure is generally suitable for helping with anxiety but there is no research yet on different anxiety disorders. As mentioned above, the acupuncture technique stimulates blood flow. This causes the nervous system to produce painkilling chemicals, kick-start the body’s natural ability to heal itself, and stimulate the part of the brain that controls emotions, including anxiety. These responses in effect, help with anxiety. When treating anxiety with acupuncture, many studies have shown success, with lesser side effects when contrasted with medication as a means of management. By inserting many fine needles into the body as a type of micro-trauma inducement, the brain is tricked into producing healing hormones even though one experiences little to no pain or discomfort at all.
The patient’s undergone treatment have also reported a surge of energy after treatment. This increased energy helps in enhanced mental clarity. The flight of fight response triggered by anxiety is mediated through regulation in the nervous system. This allows the restoration of the body’s system into a balanced mode. This transitions the body into a relaxed state, shifting it from a dominant anxious state.
Now her acupuncture practice includes the integration of Shiatsu/acupressure, Swedish massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Cupping & Gua Sha, and Traditional herbal medicine (Japanese Kampo medicine). She customizes her work for each client’s needs to assist them in finding holistic balance and improving homeostasis. If you’re looking for gentle, soft-touch Japanese Acupuncture, highly skilled CranioSacral Therapy or Massage Therapy in NYC, you’ve come to the right place. Gentle Japanese Acupuncture founder, Masayo Nishimura is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York, a NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certified diplomate in Oriental Medicine and board-certified Herbalist. She has been serving in the healing world for over 20 years. She is also a licensed massage therapist, CranioSacral therapist, and long-term Shiatsu/acupressure practitioner. Masayo intensively studied CranioSacral Therapy (CST) at the Upledger Institute – a gentle, hands-on technique that enhances the body’s self-healing abilities by inducing the natural flow of cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF). Masayo earned a three-year Master of Science in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. She trained in three distinct acupuncture styles: Japanese-style with Kiiko Matsumoto, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Acupuncture Physical Medicine, which included intensive study of muscle-trigger-point release. She also earned a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine from The Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in New Jersey.Masayo uses Japanese-style Acupuncture, in which the needles are very thin and inserted superficially; in some instances, they are not inserted at all (by using Teishin: a non-insertive needle). For Japanese practitioners, the most energetic and influential aspects of Qi are at the surface of the body. This gentle needling technique is great for highly sensitive people as well as small children. Acupuncture is not for everyone. If you choose to see an acupuncturist, discuss it with your doctor first and find a practitioner who is licensed as having proper training and credentials. Acupuncture is done using hair-thin needles. Most people report feeling minimal pain as the needle is inserted. The needle is inserted to a point that produces a sensation of pressure or ache. Needles may be heated during the treatment or mild electric current may be applied to them. Some people report acupuncture makes them feel energized. Others say they feel relaxed. Many Americans seek acupuncture treatment for relief of chronic pain, such as arthritis or low back pain. Acupuncture, however, has expanded uses in other parts of the world. Before considering acupuncture, talk to your doctor. Conditions that may benefit from acupuncture include the following:
Do not rely on a diagnosis of disease by an acupuncture practitioner. If you have received a diagnosis from a doctor, you may wish to ask him or her whether acupuncture might help.
Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners believe the human body has more than 2,000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi, pronounced “chee”) through the body that is responsible for overall health. Disruption of the energy flow can cause disease. By applying acupuncture to certain points, it is thought to improve the flow of Qi, thereby improving health. Led by Jeff Gould, LAc, DiplOM, the Johns Hopkins Integrative Medicine and Digestive Center offers acupuncture and other Chinese medicine treatments for a variety of conditions in Lutherville, MD. Treatments are delivered in a quiet, nurturing environment while patients enjoy relaxing music. Because scientific studies have not fully explained how acupuncture works within the framework of Western medicine, acupuncture remains a source of controversy. It is important to take precautions when deciding about acupuncture. Nation
al Institutes of Health (NIH) studies have shown that acupuncture is an effective treatment alone or in combination with conventional therapies to treat the following: Choose a licensed acupuncture practitioner. Your own doctor may be a good resource for referrals to a licensed or certified practitioner. Friends and family members may also be good sources of referrals. You do not have to be a doctor to practice acupuncture or to become a certified acupuncturist. About 30 states have established training standards for certification in acupuncture, although not all states require acupuncturists to get a license to practice. Although not all certified acupuncturists are doctors, the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture can provide a referral list of doctors who practice acupuncture.
Improper placement of the needle can cause pain during treatment. Needles must be sterilized to prevent infection. That is why it is important to seek treatment from a qualified acupuncture practitioner. The FDA regulates acupuncture needles just as it does other medical devices under good manufacturing practices and single-use standards of sterility.
Consider costs and insurance coverage. Before starting treatment, ask the acupuncturist about the number of treatments needed and how much the treatments will cost. Some insurers cover the cost of acupuncture while others do not. It is important to know before you start treatment whether acupuncture is covered by your insurance.
Acupuncture is the practice of penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles which are then activated through gentle and specific movements of the practitioner’s hands or with electrical stimulation.
Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.Discuss acupuncture with your doctor first. Acupuncture is not for everyone. Discuss all the treatments and medicines (dietary supplements, prescription and over-the-counter) you are taking. If you have a pacemaker, are at risk for infection, have chronic skin problems, are pregnant, or have breast or other implants, be sure to tell your doctor. Acupuncture may be risky to your health if you fail to mention these matters.
Morningside Acupuncture NYC is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and specializes in drug-free pain relief and stress relief using acupuncture and dry needling.
I began seeing Yolanda approximately 2 years ago following a shoulder surgery. She is exceptionally gifted in both acupuncture and massage. I have recommended her to several friends and family members who have all had excellent experiences with her.Extremely satisfied! She’s the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen in my entire life. No words! Just Wow….Could give more than 5 stars. Highly recommended to anyone.I’ve been seeing Yolanda for deep tissue massage and acupuncture for about three months, and out of all the massage therapists I’ve seen in NY, she is my favorite. Yolanda is a fantastic and knowledgeable massage therapist and acupuncturist. I always feel that she takes the time and energy to communicate with my body and respond to what my muscles are saying (if that makes sense). I love going to see her simply because I feel sooo relaxed and have fewer aches and pains when I do.My experience at Invigorating Classical Acupuncture over the last year has been great!! Since I have been going to Yolanda for treatment, my muscles have been less tense and my energy throughout the day has gone up. During all of my acupuncture sessions, Yolanda knew the exact locations to apply treatment without me even telling her. As a ex-football player with a lot of muscle mass, Yolanda was able to apply the right amount of pressure when it came to stretching my neck and locating tense points on my body. I continue to visit Yolanda for treatment and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone seeking acupuncture and massage therapy.
Yolanda has magical hands and keen instincts. She is helping me with shoulder pain that is healing in a wonderful way that I didn’t think was possible. She’s simply the best.
Does acupuncture points work?
Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.
I use Chinese medical aromatherapy, essential oils, and therapeutic massage in multi-layered strategies to ease your pain, and begin the process of healing!
I have been blessed by her services for almost 10 years and not once I have left her office disappointed. I would recommend her amazing therapies to everyone.
I always believe that our body has a natural capacity to heal itself; Both physically, and mentally. And acupuncture allows me to shifts the energy that causes the negative effects of stress and anxiety. The amount of treatment you need will depend on your condition and how long you’ve had it. Your acupuncturist will be able to estimate the number of treatments you will need once they have observed how your body responds to a few treatments. Generally, acute conditions improve more quickly than chronic conditions that are generally more complex. In some cases Chinese herbal medicine is combined with acupuncture.
I have severe back pain from untreated sports injuries over the years – I’ve had 2 back surgeries but have permanent nerve damage on my spine. After a year of physical therapy to get to a good place when just walking, I’ve had times when the pain is unmanageable & I cannot walk or stand without extreme pain. After every session with Yolanda at Best Acupuncture NYC, I not only have immediate improvement and relief from whatever is going on in that moment, but her specialized treatment of the permanent nerve pain also improves. I thought after the surgeries I had to learn how to live with the pain, and at times felt hopeless because it’s unbearable. I tried everything. Medication does not work for me, and in general, it’s not a solution and causes other problems. This is a real solution for me.
From the first moment spent with yolanda, you feel her healing energy. She takes pride in her work and gives her 100% each session. Incredible practitioner and an absolutely beautiful human being. Practice has changed my quality of life pertaining to holistic wellnessYou will then lie down in a comfortable position and very fine acupuncture needles will be inserted at specific points. You may feel a mild dull sensation or a bit of a tingle. Most people find the experience very relaxing. Moxibustion (heat produced by a particular herb), cupping, electro-acupuncture and/or massage may also be used.
There are plenty of conditions that can be treated with the help of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. We at Best Acupuncture NYC, helped so many patients recover their health. Here is the breakdown of successful commonly treated health conditions here at our clinic prevention of:I can’t say enough about Yolanda. She has been a sanctuary for me as I have dealt with everything from fibroids to anxiety. She is so much more than an acupuncturist. Her gifted hands and compassionate care have truly improved my physical and mental health. She is a self-care must in my life!I have been depending on Yolanda’s genius combination of acupuncture and massage for a year and a half now. Going weekly, I have been able to get my chronic pain from a rib injury under control.
I have been coming to acupuncture with Yolanda for at least three years. With my joint issues, replacement knees, bad shoulders, foot surgery, my pain levels should be through the roof.
Furthermore, I continued my educational studies and finished certification In Herbology and Herbal Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine In 2012.Acupuncture has been shown to have a positive effect in helping to manage symptoms of a wide variety of disorders, and can provide supportive care to existing medical treatment.
How legitimate is acupuncture?
Research has shown that acupuncture may be helpful for several pain conditions, including back or neck pain, knee pain associated with osteoarthritis, and postoperative pain. It may also help relieve joint pain associated with the use of aromatase inhibitors, which are drugs used in people with breast cancer.
I had my first Acupuncture session with Yolanda, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. Her establishment is peaceful and serene. During my time there, I felt at home and quite comfortable. Yolanda was extremely kind and attentive. Finally! I have searched for years to find an acupuncturist and one who also is a talented masseuse. Yolanda has healing hands… and needles. My wrist injury is finally healing and my whole body is healthier, not just my arm. (Bonus too: All the friends I keep referring LOVE her also!) Acupuncture and massage treatment with Yolanda is a beautiful and deeply appreciated weekly recharge. I feel safe and loved. Her work has helped me tremendously in moving through the pain, trauma, stress, and overthinking that was/is lodged in my body. As well as my body feeling more balanced, alive, and rested, Yolanda’s practice and care with energy work has helped my flow and alignment in ways I can’t always see but can always feel. The Electric Stimulation treatment following a much needed massaging and grounding, helped to really move some of the energy and tension I was holding in my back from exercise and sitting. I fell into a meditative connection with my body as I could feel the electricity and needles activating and releasing my muscles. The rose quarts, oils, and Yolanda’s care filled the session with comfort and deep relaxation. Very wonderful surroundings as well as an acupuncturist who provided me with an amazing combination of hands-on and acupuncture. I will definitely continue sessions with Ms. Vazquez.
As you can see, acupuncturist provided by the licensed acupuncturist at The Joint offers you and your family an affordable, convenient and accessible solution like no other.
Is Chinese acupuncture safe?
When performed by a suitably trained practitioner, acupuncture is generally considered to be safe for most people, but any procedure that involves puncturing the skin with needles or manipulating the human body carries some risk. Potential side effects of acupuncture can include: bleeding or bruising at puncture sites.
It took me 3 yrs while living here in NY to trust someone enough to call my acupuncturist. Yolanda is gentle with treatment and can always figure out exactly where my pain is coming from. Her experience with massaging is a plus with the treatment! I am so happy to have found her and would recommend her to everyone!!Your acupuncturist will thoroughly assess your condition and make a diagnosis according to TCM principles. Your medical history, family medical history, diet, lifestyle and any medications or supplements you are taking will also be discussed and taken into consideration. They will examine your tongue, take a series of pulses, and may palpate tender points along meridians.
Let us explain this even further. You may suffer from any number of symptoms such as pain, gut issues, migraines, skin problems, fatigue, inability to conceive, painful periods or hot flushes. From a Chinese medical point of view, we look at your unique collection of symptoms and put them together to reveal what we call ‘patterns of disharmony’. Some of these patterns include: Qi deficiency, Qi stagnation, Blood deficiency, Blood stagnation, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency, Damp, Damp-heat, Damp-cold, Heat (excess, deficient or upward rising), Wind-cold, Wind-heat etc.
Wow, wow, wow. I went to see Yolanda about a month ago and am still dreaming about this experience. I went to see her having been in major pain in my upper back and shoulder. When I arrived to the office, she was so easy and gentle with me, listening to where I was in the moment, and offered me water and even a ginger ale to soothe my upset stomach! I’d filled out an intake form before arriving so she was aware of what had been plaguing me, and asked some remarkably intuitive questions that gave me the space to dig a little deeper beyond my physical pain and consider what else could be at play. She started the session with a heat lamp over me that immediately relaxed me, and began gently manually releasing my stressed areas. The appointment included acupuncture, stimulation, and some mild stretching. I felt so cared for and relieved that I cried some during the session. There was a little chatting, but to the extent that helped me look closer at my self and how to better care for me. I felt so wonderful and at peace afterwards. I can’t thank her enough and am looking forward to regular sessions!

What is negative about acupuncture?
The risks of acupuncture are low if you have a competent, certified acupuncture practitioner using sterile needles. Common side effects include soreness and minor bleeding or bruising where the needles were inserted. Single-use, disposable needles are now the practice standard, so the risk of infection is minimal.
Very intuitive. I wish I’d found her earlier in my pregnancy, since seeing her my pregnancy aches and pains have lessened drastically. Coming to her office is the best part of my week now.
Then I started doing bodywork on my family members whenever anyone complained about pain, I just intuitively knew what to do, and during our family vacations, everyone would say I just had a gift.
Here at the Best Acupuncture NYC, we have a particular interest in women’s health, supporting issues such as hormonal irregularities, fertility, IVF support, stress-related issues, pregnant women who are suffering with pregnancy-related complaints, birth preparation treatment, women suffering from recurrent infections, gut-related issues and more.
Why can't you shower after acupuncture?
The intense heat from Sauna and bath is considered an extra stimulation that may undo the energy reset.
If someone is highly stressed and suffering from headaches or insomnia or recurrent infections or irregular periods for example, an acupuncturist will look at the whole picture to see how it’s manifesting in terms of Chinese medicine and will treat you according to those principles. Sometimes stress causes Qi to stagnate (become blocked) in the body, sometimes it causes Qi deficiency, either of which can manifest as some of those symptoms mentioned above. Acupuncture treats the stagnation or deficiency, assisting your body to improve its ability to heal. Can i give MORE stars? I have had both of my knees reconstructed ( Mcl, Pcl & Meniscus ) and with just 15 minutes of treatment I was pain free for 6 months!!! Her dedication to what she does is just amazing. I came to her as I used to have severe migraines and back pain. It has been 7 months since I have been seeing her and my migraine and pain and frequency have decreased at least 80%. Besides that, I love going there as it is a time for me to destress from work and just relax, enjoy the message she gives, the relaxing music she has always on and the essential oils she uses. I will def continue my treatment with her
What are 3 benefits of acupuncture?
Acupuncture is used mainly to relieve discomfort associated with a variety of diseases and conditions, including:Chemotherapy-induced and postoperative nausea and vomiting.Dental pain.Fibromyalgia.Headaches, including tension headaches and migraines.Labor pain.Lower back pain.Neck pain.Osteoarthritis.
TCM uses a unique system of viewing the body to assess and understand the ways in which your body can be out of balance as a result of these influences, causing symptoms such as illness or pain.Below is a list of the main Chinese medicine patterns. This is not exhaustive and you don’t need to have all the symptoms listed under each category to have that pattern. It’s important to get assessed by a trained acupuncturist as they will be able to tell you what your pattern of disharmony is. You may have several patterns and like any health discipline, it’s important not to self-diagnose.Yolanda is very talented and intuitive. I left my first visit feeling great relief after months of pain. I feel grateful to have found an amazing acupuncturist.Yolanda is the REAL DEAL! Her knowledge and skill of her craft are beyond measure. She was able to get rid of my sciatic nerve pain within 30 minutes!! Apparently, I had knots within my pericardial meridians which deal with the heart and its emotional connection so she counseled me on how to approach the issue holistically. The session was finished with a powerful shiatsu massage and aromatherapy. To say she should be charging way more is an understatement. Thank heavens people like her exist. I’m eternally grateful for meeting a true HEALER! I highly recommend everyone to pay her a visit.

Who should not do acupuncture?
Two specific contraindications deserve special mention: patients with an AICD should avoid any electromagnetic stimulation that might be used as a form of acupuncture. Also, it is not recommended that patients that suffer or are predisposed to suffer from psychosis or delusions undergo acupuncture as well.

The Best Acupuncture NYC with over 8 years of clinical expertise. Our Best Acupuncture NYC is conveniently located in Upper West Side, New York. Since 2008, Best Acupuncture and Massage CBD has been providing reliable and affordable treatment. Our team of Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists understand that good health is a result of the balance between work, relaxation, and exercise. This may sound weird and strange, and in many ways it is! It’s a very different way of looking at health than what most of us are used to. Chinese medicine sees your body more like a tree. When there is a problem with the leaves (your symptoms) we don’t just look at the leaves, we look at the branches, trunk and most importantly the roots of the tree, to ascertain where the issue is coming from. Chinese medicine treats the root of the problem and we label these root problems as the ‘pattern/s of disharmony’. Tending to the root helps to resolve those branch and leaf issues you may have and helps to improve your body’s overall health as well. A client may come in for headaches but also find that they are now sleeping better and their digestion has also improved. In TCM energy (Qi) is believed to flow through the body along particular pathways. When this flow is disrupted your body becomes unbalanced and unwell. Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile needles which are inserted at points along these meridians, aiming to regulate the flow of Qi and help guide your body back to a more balanced state. This means that acupuncture can support your body to change the way it operates when it has become out of balance with dis-ease. The body has a natural ability to heal itself, which can get off track. Acupuncture helps guide your body back to better functioning, in combination with a healthy lifestyle and diet.

Acupuncture is one of the major components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is probably the one that people are most familiar with in the western world. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a natural system of healthcare that has been widely used around the world by millions of people for several thousand years. The other aspects of TCM are Chinese herbal medicine, Qigong, tuina (Chinese massage therapy) and dietary therapy.
Not only did she take her time to explain her practice and passion, but she was also a great listener – noting measures that can be taken to alleviate any concerns or questions I had. I have been in a relaxed state since and look forward to my next appointment. The philosophy behind TCM is that the body is like a microsystem within the macrosystem of its environment. The health of each person will be influenced by dietary, lifestyle, climate, pollution, stress and emotional factors, particularly if any of these are extreme or sustained over a long period of time. The benefits of acupuncture are insurmountable and with Yolanda’s approach to high quality care, you can’t loose. Yolanda is a practitioner you can trust, I highly recommend invigorating classical acupuncture! !!.You can use Zocdoc to find Acupuncturists in Upper West Side, New York who are highly rated by other patients.
