My gf got this as a sample when she bought MFK-OSM. I agree with most of the comments below. This has the best chocolate note I’ve smelled. It’s not overly sweet like most. The chocolate note blends with the woods after the dry down and doesn’t stand out like most chocolate notes. This actually blends with my skin scent really well. I like it a lot.Went through this sample in 3 days-it’s that yummy. Couldn’t get enough! This has an opening that is unique and complex (for once) and one of the best, softest, most elegant, addictive chocolate scents I’ve sampled. I get the pepper in the opening. Very beautiful opening. To my nose, performance is moderate. I found myself wanting to spray more at the 2-3 hour mark, to chase that opening to dry down experience (which is why my sample expired so quickly). After the first 2 hours, becomes a very light, powdered chocolate with mostly a soft, sweet vanilla skin scent. Barely there at hour 4 or do I become nose blind?! Sillage starts moderate but becomes mild. Leans slightly masculine but out of the line, my favorite. Would purchase a bottle with discount only or if they offered a smaller size, though I have rationalized that you can overspray-therefore larger size is probably worth it. Signature Fall/Winter scent-worthy, if only performance/longevity matched the price and the suggestion of a combo of strong notes.

Not a love, just a like. Similar to Chocolate Greedy and New Bond St., but more toned down, nuanced, natural, and higher quality. Ultimately not something I would ever write home about. Grand Master is a way better version of this

I don’t understand how comes many reviews say it’s long lasting…I can’t smell anything after 30 minutes. This one is nice scent itself, more masculine and quite unique. But like I said it’s gone by the time I leave home. I smell bitter almost medicinal chocolate, sweet orange and spicy vanilla but like I said, for only 30 minutes. I have to really sniff close to skin…I sprayed Kilian Black Phantom for comparison and that one was much louder and long lasting…it’s a shame that MG charge $345 for bottle…I would not recommendDouble Attack utilizes the multifaceted notes of chocolate to deliver a medley of bittersweet, woody notes that drive the fragrance. Exceptionally effective in breaking down defenses, all who experience it are enveloped in an opening of spices and florals that give way to the underlying base notes of bourbon, and vanilla, captivating the sense of smell on multiple levels.

A little reminiscent of Jo Malone Blue Agave and Cacao. This is very rich & I would only wear in the winter. I like it but the price is a little overboard for what it is.

Not sure what everyone else here is smoking, but this fragrance smells like a new roll of plastic wrap with cocoa dust on it. Longevity is below average, especially for a darker fragrance, and the projection is average at best. Absolutely NOT worth the price tag.I’m initially testing this blind from the discovery set, and didn’t look at the name or notes. It opened up relatively light (this being the second to the last one) and I got a little bit of a musky sweet vanilla gourmand hint in the opening. As it develops and dries down I get bittersweet chocolate (a scent I know well from going through 2-3 fancy bars a week). But again, the whole fragrance seems fleeting, it’s not very big on first spritz or opens up as it dries down. Because it isn’t really there-there, there isn’t a lot more to say. Looking at the notes, clearly the chocolate is there with vanilla rounding it out, and the bitter orange and geranium keep it fresh and friendly, but the rest don’t seem present at all. I like what I get, but I don’t understand how underwhelming the whole fragrance is. Have I seriously eaten so much chocolate I can’t even detect the water I swim in? It almost makes me wonder if my sample is faulty, or something. I agree and reiterate what French Desk says, “After the first 2 hours, becomes a very light, powdered chocolate with mostly a soft, sweet vanilla skin scent. Barely there at hour 4 or do I become nose blind?!”. I feel I’d have a better experience literally mixing something with Arko Dark to get closer to the projection and longevity this is lacking, and do it at the same or lower price point.

The opening of this is amazing, I wish it was like this throughout. 😍 It eventually dries down to a warm spicy vanilla with loads of chocolate. At times it gives me Hypnotizing Fire vibes from The Harmonist (which I own and love). I think I need to play around with it a little more to determine if I will eventually buy the bottle. For now, I love it more on paper than on skin but I’m not writing it off just yet. 😉

It is comparable to Il Profvmo’s Chocolat and Giardino Benessere’s Tethys.Dark Chocolate lives in the base of this scent, but can be felt throughout each layer. In the beginning, it is soft, blending with Orange Bitters and Agave Flower. A soft spice blend of Pimento Oil, Pink Pepper, and Cinnamon pave their way into an earthy base of Vetiver Bourbon and creamy Sandalwood. A sweet touch of Vanilla softens any sharpness and lets the earthy essences thrive.
