Recently launched, @farmersfootprintaustralia looks to tell the stories of our regenerative farmers who are exploring evidence-based solutions to rebuild the living biodiversity of our world.Hello Izzy fans! This week’s Tasha Thursday is unfortunately a mixed one, as we’ve got some bad news. The reason it’s coming to you late (as well as it only being three episodes this week) is because the drive Sara has kept the 2004 episodes of the show on broke earlier this week. She has tried everything, but no luck. It has now been sent for repair, and we’re crossing our fingers they can retrieve the data, but for now we don’t have access to any episodes between #3714 and #3866. That means, that unless it gets repaired quickly, we’ll have no choice but to continue from #3866 on next week’s Tasha Thursday.

Rose explained that he used a range of different Blackmagic Design products to suit the needs of various scenes, including three URSA Mini Pro 12Ks, an URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and two Pocket Cinema Camera 6K digital film cameras. “We used three 12K cameras shooting in 8K for most scenes as the A and B camera along with the third always rigged on a Steadicam,” he said.

Still, we’ll have plenty more episodes to bring you! We will also add more event photos from Isabel’s years on the show, with the remaining 2005 events + all 2006 events hopefully being up by next week’s TT. Stay tuned!
ASIO’s director-general (Lazenby) recruits Italian-Australian cop, Joe Rossi (Vince Colosimo) to pose as a new arrival at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp with a mission to identify key communist agitators. As Joe struggles to assimilate and is ostracised by his fellow Italians who are suspicious of him, he enters the murky waters of espionage and grows uncertain of who the enemy really is, placing his assignment and himself in danger. The cast also includes Isabel Lucas as Cynthia, a Soviet spy camp administrator that manipulates the migrants to carry out communist activities.

Sean and his surfer friends decide to take a trip up the coast to honor the anniversary of his father’s death. But his attempt to deal his way out of money troubles catches up with him. He has stolen a load of drugs and now a hitman is on a rampage seeking revenge. With each murder the hitman moves one step closer to Sean and with his girlfriend kidnapped, he needs to hatch a plan to set things right.Fremont, CA, USA – Monday, November 28, 2022 – Blackmagic Design today announced that “Sons of Summer,” the long awaited sequel to the 1977 cult classic “Summer City,” was shot with multiple Blackmagic Design digital film cameras and graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software.

Recalling the many sultry Australian summers that inspired the house’s coastal-to-urban style, various years’ signatures reemerge refreshed: ivory denim with hand-embroidered patchwork; exaggerated whipstitching across necklines and seams; and floating silhouettes with plissé pleats, wire hems, and gathered ruffle accents—while swimwear is introduced for the very first time.
Rose, who has directed more than 250 videos and countless TV commercials both in Australia and internationally in a career spanning more than 20 years, said he loves working with Blackmagic Design cameras due to their “filmic look and feel.” He added, “With a tight budget I was able to have multiple cameras pre built and ready to go, which saved time and money. We used the SSD recorders on the 12Ks with 960GB cards so we could basically shoot all day which was a big help. And with minimal lighting in some tricky high contrast and low light conditions I could trust the sensors to deliver.”

“On top of that, we used the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 for high speed shots and two Pocket 6K cameras for hard to get shots on a gimbal inside cars, and for low profile car mount rigs for the chase sequence.”Based on true events that occurred at the Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre in rural Victoria, Little Europe picks up in 1952 when a spy from ASIO is killed by a Russian assassin, who steals plans for Operation Hurricane, Britain’s first atomic bomb test due to take place in Australia.

“I’m interested in (US director) Sidney Lumet’s films as a reference because he often had characters that were stuck in really oppressive and claustrophobic environments, where people’s values get blurred and there are questions over who really is the enemy in this world,” he said.
And as if that wasn’t enough – Isabel also has a new project listed on her IMDB, titled Sons of Summer! According to the movie website, they’re currently filming. No plot or other information has been released yet, but it co-stars Temuera Morrison, Christopher Pate, Joe Davidson, Phillip Avalon, Alex Fleri, Jonathan Weir, Victoria Fleri and Alex McTavish. Clive Fleury is the director, with Phillip Avalon and Greg Clayton writing the script. In its 20th year, Gold Coast Film Festival (GCFF) will span the entire city, from Coomera to Coolangatta. The programme features world and Australian premieres, preview screenings and filmmaking talent in its line-up of films, pop-up cinemas, red carpet screenings, industry panels, filmmakers Q&As and special events. Celebration screenings will be peppered throughout the 20th anniversary festival including ‘Scooby Doo’ and ‘Blue Crush’ each celebrating their 20th anniversaries.

However, the most fun surprise came today – Isabel was actually walking the runway herself this afternoon! She walked for the brand AJE, and you can read more about their new collection below. In addition to photos of Izzy on the runway, I’ve merged all the different short clips I could find of Isabel on social media into one video for you. This can be found in our video archives here.
Isabel’s latest film ‘Bosch & Rockit’ will be screened at the 2022 Gold Coast Film Festival! It’s said that the cast & crew will be in attendance, so hopefully we’ll have some new Isabel photos next month… This year’s Film Festival takes place from 20 April-1 May.When Producer Tim Maddocks was putting the film together he reached out to long term collaborator, DP Anthony Rose, who he knew would create a great look for the film.

Hello Isabel fans! We have quite a few career updates for you today. A new article by IF states that Isabel is a part of an upcoming film titled Little Europe, directed by Franco Di Chiera. You can read about the project below!“We thought it was fortuitous he was still working and coincidentally I was walking around our area in South Yarra and there was a big billboard for the Melbourne Gin Company, where he was the subject.

Then, to close things off will be ‘Bosch & Rockit’, a coming-of-age story set against Australia’s surf coast. Cast and crew will assemble on the red carpet for this debut feature/Queensland premiere from Tyler Atkins, starring Luke Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Leeanna Walsman and upcoming pro-surfer Rasmus King. More films are set to debut throughout the festival, too. Films such as the world premiere of ‘The Curious Case Of Dolphin Bay’ and the Australian premiere of ‘Waterman’, a documentary narrated by Jason Momoa. (Read more)
Hello Izzy nation! Over the last two days, Isabel has been a guest at the 2023 Afterpay Australian Fashion Week. Yesterday (May 15), she was in attendance for both the Maggie Marilyn ‘The Best Of It’ Runway Show and the Michael Lo Sordo Runway show. Several high quality photos from the events have been added to our gallery today, and you can find the links and previews below. The film is the third in the series from legendary Australian producer Phil Avalon, with the original 1977 low budget production introducing Mel Gibson to audiences prior to his breakthrough role in Mad Max two years later. The second edition came in 1988, titled “Breaking Loose: Summer City II.”

The currently in-production result is Sons Of Summer, which follows on from Summer City’s events 30 years earlier, but stands alone via a story and characters that will appeal to an entirely new generation of filmgoers. Directed by Clive Fleury, the film stars Temuera Morrison (Star Wars, Aquaman, The Island Of Dr. Moreau, Once Were Warriors) and Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Daybreakers, Red Dawn), with local talent Joe Davidson and Alex Fleri playing pivotal roles. Currently shooting on The Gold Coast (“The Gold Coast has rarely been seen like this before on film. It crosses from the glamourous mansions to the dark, rustic backwaters and incredible beaches in between”), Sons Of Summer is set for an Australian cinema release around Christmas.
Isabel attended the opening of the Cartier flagship store in Sydney last night, and our gallery has been updated with more than 50 high quality photos from the evening. Izzy wore a simplistic brown and white outfit for the high-end event, perfectly matching her new hair colour. She also caught up with fellow actresses Bella Heathcote and her “Knights of Cups” co-star Teresa Palmer at the party, and it looked like she had a fun night. It’s great to finally have new event photos of Isabel, and I hope you enjoy them as much as us!Happy new year Isabel fans! We’re starting off the new year well with some news on Isabel’s upcoming film Sons of Summer. The film is set to hit Australian cinemas this Easter, with a multiplatform release in the US slated for mid 2023. A trailer is likely right around the corner now, so check back soon for more updates!

In addition, we finally have a title for the Untitled Daniel Askill project Isabel filmed a while back – Lunacy. The plot reads “Six strangers receive an alluring invitation to a rainforest retreat from an enigmatic host, but find themselves trapped by a mysterious force in a surreal psychological test.” There’s currently no release information, but the project now has a post-production status – so hopefully we’ll learn something new soon. Using the lens of environmentalism and activism in a multitude of projects that focus on ecology, regenerative agriculture and well-being, and advocating for soil health & food independence, @zachbushmd founded @farmersfootprint in the USA, a grassroots movement that evaluates the impact of monocrop farming and pesticide reliance on chronic disease and planetary health. “Earlier in the year Anthony and I were on a documentary shoot using a different range of cameras and he mentioned the ease of working with Blackmagic Design cameras by comparison. So when the opportunity arose for him to come on board ‘Sons of Summer’ we talked extensively about the look of the film,” Maddocks said. “I mentioned my love of anamorphic lenses and Anthony came up with the package of Blackmagic cameras to suit our shoot. As a producer, the excellent value for the money was a nice bonus to achieving the filmic look we were after.”

Using DaVinci Resolve Studio for grading, the film was produced almost entirely within a Blackmagic Design ecosystem. “Grading footage shot with Blackmagic Design cameras in DaVinci Resolve made it easy to get the look we wanted. We used a 1000 nit monitor for grading and the Blackmagic Design footage really came alive. Our colorist was fresh from grading Elvis and was very impressed with the BRAW files,” Rose said. Australian-born ex- James Bond actor George Lazenby has signed on to a new Cold War spy drama from Franco Di Chiera that is set to be pitched at the Marche du Film in Cannes this week. Held at the Sydney Modern Project, in the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Gadigal land; Co-founders Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris felt compelled to return to the codes that have defined the house since its inception, distilling their design process down to its pillars—the elements. Raw beauty. Femininity with an edge. A sense of duality anchored in unexpected contrasts. An artisan sentiment. Australian roots. For ‘Home & Away’ fans, fellow past cast members Sharni Vinson and Lincoln Lewis were both in attendance at the premiere. I haven’t found any photos of Sharni with Isabel yet (nor am I certain they actually met up at the event) (edit, by Ann: they did indeed! You can find a really cute photo of all 3 of them in our gallery here – and they even met up with a 4th Home & Away alumni, Todd Lasance!)The script was written by Di Chiera and Jason Agius, whose grandfather’s experience at Bonegilla inspired parts of the plot. Sabella Sugar, of Ultrafilms, is producing the project.Meanwhile, the red carpet will be rolled out at HOTA, Home Of The Arts, as cast and crew assemble for the Opening Night film (and Queensland premiere of) ‘How To Please A Woman’. The film, from award-winning director Renee Webster, features an all-star Australian/international cast including Sally Philips, Erik Thomson, Tasma Walton and Cameron Daddo. It’s a delightfully entertaining, at times outright hilarious film about second chances.

And while Avalon has produced a host of polished genre flicks (Fatal Bond, Liquid Bridge, William Kelly’s War, The Pact), Summer City remains his key release. The producer returned to the film in 1988 with the sequel Breaking Loose: Summer City II, and is now set to go back to the beach once again with Sons Of Summer. “I was originally approached by a US-based financier to remake Summer City,” Avalon explains. “He loved the film growing up, and wanted to see it remade in today’s world. But instead of recreating the ’60s period in a remake, I thought, ‘Why not introduce a brand new storyline, characters and sub plot that will appeal to today’s audiences that aren’t familiar with the original?’”All graphics and original content belong to isabellucasfan.com. “Our memories of him were jolted with the release of the latest James Bond film because they brought out all the former James Bonds to attend the premieres in the UK and US,” he said.
Hi Isabel fans! Izzy recently did a portrait session with Ryan Conduit & Stephanie Zaicew, and she has finally shared some of the outtakes on her social media. She shared some beautiful poems by Timothee Roi Diers alongside the photos, which you can check out here! Enjoy the photos in our gallery.Rose said working with Fleury and Producer Phil Avalon was a pleasure. “Clive and Phil immediately had confidence in my approach to shooting the film. With a tight schedule we needed to move fast and be flexible. We decided to shoot anamorphic which was a big step but wanted the film to have a cinematic edge and play with widescreen framing,” he concluded. Isabel recently sat down with one of her favorite people, Zach Bush, to discuss human behaviour, flow and miracles, and so much more! The interview is almost an hour long, which is nice when we’ve been without new Izzy content for so long. Our gallery will be updated with screen captures soon, but for now, enjoy the video below! Each Thursday, we celebrate Isabel’s long run as Tasha Andrews on Home & Away! We’ll share screen captures from her episodes, video clips, information and other fun media each week, with an aim to eventually have a complete collection of screen captures covering Isabel’s time on the show. The 2022 Gold Coast Film Festival wrapped up today, with a closing ceremony and special screening of Isabel’s new film ‘Bosch & Rockit’. Isabel wore a black mini-dress paired with black ballet slippers, a glitzy evening jacket and a gold chain shoulder bag, and showed hew new bangs for the first time in public! I’ve added the first photos we could find to the gallery, but we expect to have more in a couple of days.

Directed by award winning director Clive Fleury, “Sons of Summer” features Australian star Isabel Lucas and New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison. The plot takes place in the same universe as the past films, and tells the story of Sean (Joe Davidson) who is a troubled but charismatic surfer trying to outrun his tragic past.
In other news, Isabel is included in US Elle magazine’s 25th birthday celebrations in its October issue. She also supported boyfriend Adrian Grenier for the release of his new film, a documentary that examines the relationship between celebrity and society, mainly from the eyes of precocious 13-year-old paparazzo Austin Visschedyk.

Isabel recently has signed on to play Athena in Immortals alongside Mickey Rourke, Kellan Lutz and Freida Pinto, the film is set for a November 2011 release.Isabel Lawrence Photographers bring over 40 years experience to every photographic shoot. Tasha also returned to school, but things didn’t run smoothly there either, getting into fights with pupils, trashing corridors etc. However she found a friend in Kit and Tasha continued to fit back into normal society, if you can call Summer Bay life that, though she was still prone to erratic moods such as trying to suffocate Kane when he moved into the Beach House.

With nothing medically wrong with Tasha she was soon going to have to leave the hospital, but they didn’t know where to put her. One day Tasha freaked out at the hospital and Irene was the only one able to calm her down and she agreed to look after Tasha.
Tasha next got in trouble when left alone at The Beach House with Robbie in the aftermath of Hayley’s accident she decided to go on a naked run through the bush, which led to them getting caught by the police. There troublemaking didn’t stop there, when they started taking days off school to “help birds that had fallen out of trees”. Tasha continued to get in trouble at school when she banned from wearing the boys uniform.

Tasha got closer to a cult member named Jonah whose mother was called Mumma Rose. She believed that Tasha was the woman to give birth to the chosen one. Tasha was drugged and raped by Jonah but it was later proven that Jonah hadn’t raped her as he was in fact sterile. After police intervention Tasha left the believers camp and gave birth to a baby girl. She found it incredibly hard to bond with her daughter who Robbie named as Ella. Ironically Robbie who loved Ella even though he didn’t believe or know that Ella was his biological daughter managed to get through to Tasha and she bonded with Ella.
Kim and Robbie drove down to the city and managed to convince Tasha to return. Back, Irene and Tasha made up. Tasha then took her out to the bush near where Irene’s stuff was stolen and showed her an old friend, Pam. Her son had stolen Irene’s stuff and whilst they were talking, Pam mentioned that Angie had an identical cousin.Tasha soon decided that she wanted to get in contact with her father and Josie managed to arrange this for her. Whilst there Ian was purposely mean to Tasha, knowing that his world would destroy her. Tasha was really upset at how the meeting had gone, but in the long run it was what was best for her.Impressed by how Tasha was maturing, Irene got in touch with her brother Dylan who came to the bay to see her. Whilst there she mentioned the aunt to him and Dylan managed, along with his gran, found where Josie lived. Irene got in contact her, but decided that she didn’t want Tasha to get in contact with her. However Josie used her contacts to find Irene and came to Summer Bay to visit Tasha. With Sarah escaped Irene and Tasha to the city to see Dylan.Mumma Rose had managed to get out of prison and came looking for Tasha and her baby who she believed to be the ‘chosen’ one. In order to get Ella she instructed a cult member called Charity to get closer to her and gain her trust; Charity managed to gain her trust and successfully kidnapped the baby. Mumma Rose attempted to carry out a purification ritual but Tasha managed to get away with help from Rachel who had been kidnapped to help. Mumma rose then suffered a breakdown as a knock on effect.Flynn had her transferred to the hospital where she needed to sleep on a mattress on the floor, unable to cope with the furniture in the room. Tasha tried to make a break from the hospital, but was quickly sedated. Flynn, in attempt to communicate in many different languages, but none prompted any response from her. She finally responded, but Flynn was unable to work out what she was saying. After some research it was ascertained that Tasha was speaking Pig Latin.A day later Max went down to the rocks and Tasha appeared again. Max chased her along some rocks. Tasha fell and hurt her ankle. Luckily Flynn was nearby. Flynn took her to his surgery where Flynn and Max asked questions, but go no answers. Whilst at the Hayley and Noah’s wedding, Sarah Lewis had broke into the Beach House and stolen Tasha’s gun. Tasha was really guilty when Jesse got shot with it. Tasha and Robbie soon became friends with new kid in town, Kim Hyde. Tasha, unknowing of the etiquette of a relationship soon began kissing Kim. When Robbie found out about this he broke up, but they soon got back together. There troublemaking continued however when Tasha gave Kim the keys to Irene’s car and they subsequently crashed it. Tasha then stayed in the school during the sit-in, but struggled within in the confined spaces of the school.Tasha had a few early scares in the Beach House, like getting burns on her hands when she saw a fire, despite being nowhere near it, and being scared of Kane, who was later revealed to, along with his brother Scott to have held Tasha hostage at a petrol station. However Irene was able to work out what Tasha’s name was, having until that point only been known as Jane Doe and Tasha began to pick up some English

Tasha was hiding the money out of the bush and worried about it’s safety, Robbie and Kim tricked Tasha and returned it to Flynn. Tasha found about this and ran away to the city to try and find out more about her father, Ian Osbourne. Irene thought she had ran away to the bush. Whilst out there someone stole some of her belongings.
Flynn returned from the city with the news that Irene had been waiting for, Tasha’s mother was none other than Angela Russell. The resemblance was uncanny. Before Irene had a chance to decide what to do Tasha was leading the rescue effort for The Sutherlands towards the mineshaft. Irene decided to keep the information about Tasha’s mother from here, but Tasha soon found the birth certificate. Tasha took it and later in the week Irene was looking for it. Tasha went to Max and showed him the certificate. Max was shocked at her identity and quickly got an excuse to walk off.

Robbie then tried to set up a trap in the bush to catch Tasha, but ended up catching himself. Whilst out in the bush Robbie was bitten by a snake and Tasha had to run and get help. After this happened Tasha decided to return home to Irene’s after Flynn talked her around. After this Tasha and Robbie began to build up friendship before sharing their first kiss soon after. Robbie later was revealed to be the person who turned the life support machine off of his granddad Graham Walters. After being acquitted of the crime, Tasha and Robbie got an offer from Josie to join her in Boston. Tasha and Robbie accepted and went to live in the States. Ian phoned Irene and told her that he wanted to get in contact with her. She went along and offered a her a huge amout of money. Irene rejected it saying that Tasha was more important and the camera were removed from the house.Tasha then questioned Irene about her parents, but Irene tried to sidestep the question. Tasha then went around to the Sutherland’s where she revealed who her mother, but when they realised her identity they were also cagey with the truth. Tasha revealed to Irene that she had the letter with her parents on and was really angry with her. Feeling like she couldn’t trust Irene she decided to leave and live in the bush.

Josie then asked Tasha to be her bridesmaid for her upcoming marriage to Jesse. Tasha accepted, but then she soon found out from Josie that she had been doing the dirty on Jesse with Marc. At the wedding Josie and Jesse were just to be announced as man and wife when Tasha said they couldn’t go through with the wedding.
Later on in 2005 Tasha joined a cult called the Believers and this caused great tension between her and her ‘husband’ Robbie at the time. Robbie was adamant that the Believers weren’t as nice and normal as they claimed to be. Tasha however despite several warnings went to live with him ignoring Robbie’s warnings. As you can imagine this upset Robbie but he never relented and he tried on several occasions to get Tasha to see sense. At the beginning of 2005 Tasha, Robbie and Kim went on camping trip in the bush. Whilst out there Robbie stood on a needle and as a result this began to cause him to behave erratically like stealing Kim’s car and jumping off Jump Rock. Tasha broke up with Robbie after this. Robbie’s behaviour soon improved, but it wasn’t until Tasha was trapped out in the bush after the plane crash, badly hurting her ankle, that she realised how important Robbie was to her and they got back together.Robbie and Tasha also began to think about going a step further with their relationship at this time. However at the last moment Robbie chickened out. After a few frosty moment between the two they decided to wait until the time was right.
