At the end of each round, a player may pay resources. Either 2 different ones to recruit a character or build a building from the small board or 4 different ones to choose a tile from the face-down pile.
The game is played as usual, but when the dominoes have been drawn, the following resources are added to each square without a crown: wheat field – wheat; forest – wood; lake – fish; meadow – sheep.

Kingdomino: The Court is a free print-and-play expansion for Kingdomino or Queendomino and contains a small board, 59 resource tokens and 25 characters and building tiles.
The obtained character or building can only be placed on tiles without crowns and resources. Buildings give additional crowns and can only be placed in the appropriate type of land, e. g. a mill on a wheat field; characters give additional points depending on surrounded resource tokens, crowns or other characters and can be placed on any land square without crowns or resource tokens.

Nálunk is megosztó lett, nekem nagyon tetszik, rengeteg pontot lehet vele gyűjteni, az eddig bevált stratégiákat újra kell gondolni, de nem mindenki volt ezen az állásponton, volt akinek pont ezzel a pontözönnel volt baja. So, I decided to see if there were any 3D-printed items out there and of course, the 3D printing subcommunity within the boardgaming community did not disappoint. I found some files which fit perfectly for my needs and I 3D-printed them using my CR-10S yesterday. Saying that the components came out well would be an understatement.

Previous owner of my Pipeline copy bought the rest of the barrels at some point in the past; I don’t know if they came from this shop, but these fit perfectly in with the previous ones, and look great. These barrels fit in the Meeple Realty insert’s Penalty-cube tray. The original barrels generally fit in the Meeple Realty insert’s resource tray, however it may not fit the entire set.

Whenever a new tile is turned over and placed on the table (including during setup) check to see if resources need to be added to it. A resource token will be placed on each section of a tile that doesn’t feature a crown. The type of resource you place on the space depends on the type of terrain.Each character tile has their own unique scoring conditions. The number in the bottom left corner is their base points. The character tiles can also score points based on some criteria shown in the bottom right corner.The main use of resource tokens will be to purchase some of the new tiles that are included in the expansion pack. These tiles come in two types. First there are buildings. These tiles are pretty straightforward. These tiles feature crowns on them which can be added to the corresponding type of land. Thus purchasing building tiles is a roundabout way of adding crowns to your properties. Instead of picking up a tile that features a crown you can use two different resource tokens that you have acquired to place a building with a crown on one of your squares that don’t feature a crown. You can then place the building on any square of the corresponding type that you want. This allows you to considerably raise the multiplier of some of your properties.
The character placed in this example is the farmer. Their base score is three points. They will also score three points for each wheat token in one of the eight neighboring spaces. As there are three wheat tokens in the neighboring spaces this tile will score an additional nine points for a total of twelve points.
As this is an expansion to Kingdomino I will only be discussing what is new in this expansion. For an explanation on how to play the main game check out my review of Kingdomino.
Possibly the more interesting way to use your resources is to purchase a character. In some ways the characters work like buildings as they are placed on one of the spaces in your kingdom. They are considerably more interesting than buildings though as they have unique ways of scoring points. Most of the characters have a base value which they automatically score. The characters can also score additional points for elements on the adjacent eight squares though. These characters can score points from quite a few different things. A lot of the characters will score points for each adjacent resource token of a certain type. This creates an interesting dilemma as you decide between using the resources to buy more tiles or keeping them in your kingdom to score bonus points for your characters. Other characters score points for other adjacent characters or even adjacent crowns.Your other option is to spend four different resource tokens in order to look through the face down pile of tiles and choose whichever tile you want. After looking through the tiles they will be shuffled and placed back on the corresponding space.
