This film features Dunia Camp, the only all-female safari lodge in Africa. The camp is located in the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and features.If asked I could describe any major Batman story arc that came to mind. The Golden Age of comics in 1939 up to around World War II when Batman was first introduced. Fighting gangsters and mob bosses in Gotham City, wielding a pistol and executing criminals (very different from the character today). Or the Frank Miller run in the 1980s, “The Dark Knight Returns” where a fifty-five-year-old Batman dons the cowl once again to take back Gotham from a rising gang. By this time I have made sure to watch the main Batman movies released in Cinema and building up a collection of Batman comics and memorabilia. Then in August of 2014, my big break came.1. e could have put them on the list with just about any jersey, but that’s simply not necessary as this one is an all-time classic.

When you ‘hook up’ with someone, most times there will be one sided expectations. Someone will care more than the other person and be left hurt and let down. She has promoted policies aimed at achieving social, economic, and political justice for all Tanzanians, however, I belive her greatest accomplishment since becoming president is how she has shown and inspired all the women young and old of East Africa to continue to belive in themselves, that anything is possible, no matter what the world says.Dunia meaning “World” in Swahili, is the only camp in Africa run entirely by women and the team is an inspirational example of what women can achieve in a male-dominated industry.I believe this is exactly what Samia Suluhu Hassan ( Madame President) did, she broke through the cultural barriers, went against the norm, and did what no Tanzanian woman has ever done before.

It is one of my greatest hopes that come 2025, she will actually run to be voted as the president and continue to break the barriers and make a difference as she already has and does in small and big ways.

Samia is the first female president of the country. She was sworn in on 19 March 2021, succeeding John Magufuli after his death. She had previously served as Tanzania’s Vice President from 2015 until 2021.Not only because it’s the one and only lodge in Africa run completely by women but more importantly, being surrounded by only female energy in a setting like the Serengeti, which is mother nature at her finest has to be one of the most life-changing experiences I have ever had.

So to move to a place that was so vastly polar opposite to this belief took some adjusting of my perspectives, and despite wanting to be curiously respectful about a culture so vastly different to my own I could never quite agree with the limitations placed on the woman in Tanzania.They are the embodiment of strength a beaming light of ambition and resilience in a world built by and for men they have taken their rightful place leading with grace and power.

To me, I didn’t set out to be insta-famous. I just wanted to create a community where people didn’t have to feel afraid to talk about Batman. In both grade school and high school, I was shamed for liking superheroes and cartoons. And I wasn’t an overly weird guy, I just saw it as liking sports or video games. But everyone else thought I was a weirdo. So that’s why I am proud of the account today and proud to be a Batman fan.We live in a day and age where relationships are less and less common. We have created a culture of purely hooking up. Most people would rather wake up without a trace of who they slept with the night before rather than a smile and warm goodmorning. Somehow we’ve become convinced that “no feelings attached” is the best way to protect our feelings. But I’m here to tell you that that is the last way to keep from getting hurt.

Instagram was a very different place in 2014. There were no Instagram stories, your timeline feed was posted in chronological order, and the menu was blue! Today superhero accounts plague a section of Instagram. It is so difficult today to break out and gain a huge following. But back in 2014, there were hardly any left. I remember a guy DMed me on Instagram, he ran a superhero fact page called @Superhero_trivia. He asked if I wanted to be apart of his team. Obviously, fourteen-year-old me was ecstatic at the opportunity. I decided to do my facts on the Batfamily, a name given to all the members of Batman’s team throughout the years. @Superhero_trivia was a little bit hesitant at the time. How could I provide so many facts on just one subject matter? At least with superheroes, there is an array of characters to do facts on. It was a daunting task, but one I was prepared to face.Sasik’s pieces are like a fragment of Zanzibar’s heart, coming from the heart of an African mother. Every time I leave the Sasik shop and wave goodbye to the ladies, smiling at me from behind their fine handwork, I feel somehow more of a woman, more of a human, with a loving disposition towards the world.Then there’s the situation which I find to be even worse: feeling used. Feeling as though that’s all they wanted you for and then being left to deal with the after math. People are so hard to read, especially if they want to be. Imagine how it feels to be so into someone, to really believe that they like you back and then never hear from them again once you have sex. Imagine what that does to someone’s self esteem; Their feeling of self worth. Not only is it hurtful but it makes them questions themselves and the way other people value them. They deserve better than that. You deserve better than that. Every person deserves better than that.

I didn’t start liking Batman from a young age. My first exposure to superheroes was around 2010 after the second Iron Man film. But I didn’t just want to be a casual reader. I wanted to know about these characters. I just so happened to stumble on Batman around February of 2012. I was on YouTube just looking at the sidebar of recommended videos. I just clicked on a Batman video with a fancy thumbnail and it was gameplay of the video game “Batman: Arkham City” (2011) that released that past fall. In the video, there was a commentator named kNIGHTWING01 and he was just talking about the different characters in the game you, the player interacted with. It was such a unique approach to the video and I just marathoned his videos for the next couple of months. In 2013, I finally created a YouTube page and he was one of the first people I subscribed to. I didn’t know then, but I had opened myself to a bigger universe.

Our countries’ national teams made quite a handful of appearances, as did a few teams from our nation’s capital. Regardless, here is my take on the most deserving jerseys on the list.

I wanted to write this article to just describe my history with this character and how he has played a big part in my life.
