There are five flavours, each of a different colour: strawberry (originally raspberry), orange, lemon, blackcurrant and lime.In 2020 Nestlé have made the move to manufacture Fruit Gums solely in the bag format. The sweets in the bag format are the traditional fruit shaped sweets which are a little lighter than the previous round shapes sweets found in the tubes. An advertising campaign for the gums that ran for three years from 1958 to 1961 included the slogan “Don’t Forget the Fruit Gums, Mum”. The black currant ones are the best. For those in the US, they are harder than a JuJuBe but more flavorful. A very true to flavor taste and they are very fruity. My other all time favourite sweetie – that and Fruit Pastilles – in fact it’s often a toss up as to which one wins out! Think most of the time it’s the Fruit Gums that win out – they are that good. Way better when you have 2-3 different flavours in your mouth at one time too! And for those of us who remember the old advert: “Don’t Forget The Fruit Gums Mum” – you’ll take a big trip back in time when you start eating these awesome sweets. I’m so, so glad that I can get them again.The most addictive candy Ive ever had. My grandma was my first dealer, she got me hooked. Every so often I would get a care package containing Fruit Gums and a Beano, Dandy or Topper annual. I would prefer to buy a box of rolls but these will do. Better than the sometimes expired ones I can get locally at the candy shop in town for almost $3 a roll. I dont know how anyone could prefer wine gums over these. Wine gums have no flavour and what flavour there is is horrid.

Okay. They are harder than I expected, so make sure you know that before you order. You need to suck on them for a while before you chew, otherwise, these can easily get stuck in your teeth. I prefer the wine gums just because they’re softer and more of a gummy candy. These were good, just not my preference.
