While raising a family, she worked at the West Co, Budd Co., Snyders Cadillac and Lachmans. She worked at Project Help before transitioning to COAD in Exton, Pa., where she retired as CFO.
The service should begin at approximately 11:15 A.M. Burial will take place at Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA., immediately following the service. Friends and family may attend the burial.

She traveled internationally to Ireland, Italy, Canada and Argentina. Her continental travels were primarily to Florida, San Francisco and Palm Springs. For the past few years she enjoyed spending time at her beach house near Rehoboth where she would do a nightly cruise in her flame-embossed golf cart.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Kelly Conway, Dawn Christman, Karen Holahan and Colleen Waltman; her sisters, Dawne Turner and Beverly Rees. She is also survived by three son-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, seven grandchildren as well as three sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her fiancee, Sherman Hess. She was preceded in death by her sons Edward Francis Conway, Johnathan Rees Friday, her husband John Friday and one grandson.Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. in R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville. Visitation will also take place on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. The Funeral Service will be for the immediate family only but friends and family may view the service online by connecting to the Zoom link:She enjoyed the company of her friends and family, as well as, her life-long best friend, Bonnie August and was the hostess for many gatherings over her lifetime. Many fond memories of Sunday breakfast at the Polish Club, New Years Eve parties and the card game 31(Happy trails to you . . . . ). She was a confident and independent woman, ahead of the times. Her home was always welcoming and open to anyone in need or for socializing with family and friends. The Chamber has meant so much to me and my business over the past 18 years. The membership, programming, resources, and sense of community is second to none. It’s an organization that businesses get so much value from and I love the opportunities it has created for our community.
